Mighty Men of Valor

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NKJV)

To answer that what make us tick we need to share a story that Jesus shared with a group at a dinner party:“A man loaned money to two people—five hundred pieces of silver to one and fifty pieces to the other.  But neither of them could repay him, so he kindly forgave them both, canceling their debts. Who do you suppose loved him more after that?” As you can imagine the answer was “the one for whom the greater debt was cancelled.”
You see we realize what a debt we owed, and that no matter what we did we couldn’t pay it (and honestly the harder we tried the worse we made it). But that because of Christ love for us, He came and paid our debt (one He didn’t owe and I couldn’t pay). So now, we don’t live just for ourselves (at least we try not to). We live to mirror what Jesus would do and to help others find out how they can have their debt paid.
In a real sense we are simply beggars who found the food showing other beggars where it is at. If you are interested in this “food” check out how you can receive this free gift.

Today's Devotional Thought:

TheGreatest Free Gift

Of all the gifts that we could ever give you, none will ever match up to the free gift that God has waiting for you!

What is this free gift you ask? And how exactly does one receive a gift from God?
Both of these are good questions and are both answered in scripture.

Romans 6:23 tells us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That’s right Jesus Christ died on the cross to give you the gift of eternal life, if you will only receive it.

So how do you receive it, well in Acts 13 the Bible tells us 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved’ here is an example of how you can pray and receive this free gift Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.

If you have prayed and asked Christ into your heart or would like more information on how to receive this free gift please contact us and we will discuss this great gift with you further.
